Maxillaria orchids are not known to many people, not even to most orchid enthusiasts.
They do exist and are still a part of the orchid family though.
They are not popular for growing too as they produce very small flowers and as low as a single flower on one spike.
However, that single flower is enough for producing fragrance in a good perimeter. With diverse species, the growing requirements vary from specie to specie.
